Buttermilk Falls

Trail leading to the falls and stream with several scenic overlooks and an attractive area at the base of the falls for picnicking, nature observation, photography. Open dawn to dusk. Covers an area of 75 acres.  No restrooms.

Cherry Brook Park
Madison Avenue, Pearl River, NY 10965.
Open dawn to dusk. • The 3.5-acre site  includes four tennis courts, a walking path, a children's play area, four handball-paddleball courts and a volleyball area, which is used as an ice-skating rink in the winter.

Children's Park

Trails for walking and jogging, paddle ball and tennis courts, a little league ball field, a basketball court, a play area for children, picnic tables and benches.  Covers an area of 35 acres. The park has restrooms and is handicapped accessible.  Dogs on leashes are allowed in the park

Demarest Kill Park

The park has a paved walkway, hiking trail, benches and picnic tables and a 2.5 acre pond that is stocked with brown trout every year, and a wooden fishing station. Open dawn to dusk.   30 acres.  No restrooms. 

Eleanor Burlingham Memorial Park

Herb Reisman Sports Complex

High Tor State Park

Mountainview Nature Park

South Mountain Park

Tallman Mountain State Park

686 acres and includes Piermont Marsh - the largest salt hay meadow in this section of the Lower Hudson Valley. Swimming pool, playground,  athletic field and running track, tennis courts, cross-country ski trails, biking and hiking trails, picnic areas.  Picnic tables and pool are handicapped accessible Open from 8am to dusk.

Tigers Den Park

Tigers Den Park has basketball and volleyball courts and an in-line skating rink.  Its sloped landscape makes it an ideal location for concerts.
