Located in Stony Point off of Route 9W in Rockland County, New York, the Stony Point Lighthouse and Battlefield parks sit on a hill offering  beautiful vistas of the Hudson River. The Wayne-Washington Lookout Park, atop Buckberg Mountain in Tomkins Cove, is the site where Gens. George Washington and Anthony Wayne stood to plan their attack against the British garrison during the American Revolution.

Re-enactments of the 1779 battle at the Stony Point Battlefield State Historic Site and the Stony Point Lighthouse takes place each year.
The lighthouse, built in 1826, is the oldest on the Hudson River.
